PANJIM: With Home Minister Amit Shah visiting Taleigao on Thursday evening, the roads in and around Panjim, especially the entry and exit points of the capital city and neighbouring Taleigao were chock-a-block with traffic.
Vehicles were seen crawling on the national highways, be it traffic heading to Panjim from Margao or vice versa or traffic heading to Panjim from Porvorim and vice versa.
There were similar traffic jams on routes near the Taleigao Community Hall where Shah was addressing the BJP karyakartas.
Earlier in the day, similar traffic congestion-related issues were reported on other parts of the highway in Dabolim, Ponda and the Verna to Agassaim stretch.
