MAPUSA: The Block Development Officer (BDO) for Bardez Shivprasad Naik has issued a memorandum to panchayat secretaries of all the 33 village panchayats in the taluka to keep records for years 2018-19, 2019-20, 2020-21 and 2021-22 before audit inspection or warned of disciplinary proceedings.
According to information, the BDO office, Bardez had received a letter from the Joint Director of Accounts office informing about the annual audit of the account of village panchayat from October 17 onwards.
In this connection, a memorandum was issued to all panchayat secretaries of Bardez taluka to complete in all respect for inspection along with annual statements of accounts, administrative report, audit compliance report and produce the same to the auditing party at Guirim panchayat hall.
BDO also directed the secretaries to follow the schedule and ensure the completion of records on the previous day.
