PANJIM: Continuing its trend, the Mushtifund Aryan classes achieved cent percent result for the higher secondary school certificate (HSSC) examination with Aby Jose toping the institution with 95.33 percent.
Jose, who scored 100 in physics, mathematics and 99 in chemistry has already cleared JEE advance with flying colours and now is set to answer IIT JEE. “I am very thankful to my parents, my sister for all the support and God for being with me,” he told media persons, soon after the results were declared.
Jose now wants to pursue in IIT computer science just like his elder sister, whom he considers as his inspiration. “I have learnt a lot from her. Because of her, I have too developed interest in computer science,” he said.
The institute is confident that Jose will for sure stand in the first 100 students in IIT –JEE entrance.
Deepak Gopalan secured the second position scoring 94.83 percent while Shubham Phal ranked third with 94.16 percent.
Addressing media persons on the success of the institution, Principal Venkatesh Prabhudesai, said that the Aryan classes has once again achieved cent percent result with of the total 69 answering the exam, 61 passed with distinction while eight were first class.
Total three students have scored above 94 percent, 13 have scored between 90-94 percent, 16 students scored between 95-90 percent. Nearly 19 students have secured 90 and above in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
“Our students prepare themselves not only for board examination but for entrance test in medical and IIT,” he said.
Damodar HSS excels at HSSC
PANJIM: Students of Shree Damodar Higher Secondary School of Science, Margao, excelled at the recent HSSCE in March 2016. Altogether 226 students appeared of which 222 passed with overall percentage of 98.23 %. 115 students secured distinction, 92 first class and 15 second class. Miss Shivon Da Silva and Vasant Shirodkar secured (561/600); Dielle Martins (556/600) and Shubham Sudin Prabhudesai (555/600). The higher secondary school secured 96 marks in Physics, 97 in Chemistry, 100 in Biology, 100 in psychology, 99 in Geography and 99 in Maths. Seven students secured 90% and above marks in the Examination.

Raikar school of agriculture achieves 100 per cent results
PANJIM: Ramanatha Crisna Pai Raikar Education Society’s Ramnata Crisna Pai Raikar School of Agriculture, Savoi Verem, Ponda achieved cent percent pass results at the recently HSSCE in March 2016, with students securing first class. In a press statement issued by the Society’s chairman Manguirish Pai Raikar, the students who appeared for XII Agriculture (vocational) secured first class. “The management congratulates the staff and the students and wishes them best in their future endeavours. Our admissions to the Community College for further education in Agriculture are open and we provide vertical mobility through these courses for the students who have passed XII,” he added.
