Degree College admissions to commence online from May 27

PANJIM: Online admissions for first-year in government and aided non-professional colleges under the administrative control of Directorate of Higher Education for the academic year 2024-2025 will start from Monday, May 27.

The admissions will be held for courses such as BA, BCom, BSc, BCA, BBA, BALLB, BPEd, Music, Theatre, Home Science, Agriculture, BA BEd, BSc BEd.

The common admission portal https://www.dhe.goa.gov.in/ will open from 11 am onwards from Monday and the students will have to apply through this common portal. 

The portal will provide detailed guidelines for the students about the online application process.

The preparation of the merit list and counselling will be done by the respective colleges.

HSSC supplementary exams from today

The Goa Board of Secondary and higher Secondary Education will conduct Supplementary May, June HSSC examination 2024 from Monday, May 27 to June 6. 

The supplementary exams will conducted from two centres Mapusa and Margao. The Mapusa centre is DMs PVC SM Kushe Higher Secondary School, Assagao and the Carmel College HSS, Nuvem, is the Margao centre. 

The chief conductor for Mapusa centre is Dipti Khalap (9823378888) and observer is Gopal Prabhu(9805208418).

For the Margao centre, the chief conductor is Fransqueins Dias (9822744581) and observer is Conrad Mendes (9822121203).
