PANJIM: A woman from Dona Paula has filed a complaint against her husband of alleged assault, abuse and harassment.
According to the complainant, the accused Chet Jainn, earlier known as Chetankumar Jain alias Chetan Kapse had on several occasions assaulted and abused her and abandoned her thereby subjecting her to physical and mental harassment besides emotional and financial abuse.
The police are in a process to file a chargesheet against the accused who is a founder of CROWDERA'S. An FIR was registered against him under section 498A IPC at the Panjim Police Station. The police have recorded statements of accused and co-accused.
