PANJIM: Food and Drugs Administration (FDA) on Friday suspended the operations of the Goa Reserve Police (GRP) canteen at Altinho, Panjim for operating without obtaining registration as required under Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006.
After inspecting the canteen premises, the FDA’s Food Safety Officer served a notice and the Food Business Operator (FBO) concerned has asked the particular FBO to stop the food business activity with immediate effect and to apply for registration under FSS Act 2006 within the next 15 days.
