Fourth batch of Agniveers from Goa complete training, passing out parade held at Ponda

PONDA: As many as 401 Agniveer soldiers completed their training at the 6 Training and Transit Regiment (TTR), Military Camp, Ponda.

This event marked the graduation of the fourth batch of Agniveers, celebrating their successful completion of rigorous training with a total of 1,771 jawans having passed out from this prestigious institution.

The parade was reviewed earlier in the morning by Brigadier Harsh Bhatia, Commandant of 2 Signal Training Centre. Brigadier Bhatia congratulated the Agniveers on their commendable achievement and encouraged them to uphold the Indian Army’s core values of duty, honour, and courage.

The Agniveers underwent 21 weeks of intensive advanced military training, which combined theoretical knowledge with practical instruction. The training was designed to equip them with the essential skills and expertise required to become proficient warriors.

The passing-out parade not only celebrated the Agniveers’ accomplishments but also symbolised the beginning of their journey in the Indian Army. It was a moment of immense pride for the Agniveers, their families, and the nation.

The event was successfully coordinated by Colonel Neeraj Nautiyal, Commanding Officer of 6 TTR, along with Lieutenant Colonel Hemant K. Soni, Lieutenant Colonel Arun Singh, Lieutenant Colonel Narasimha Prabhu M and Subedar Major Mahendra Singh.

The ceremony was a testament to the dedication and hard work of the Agniveers and the tireless efforts of the instructors and staff at 6 TTR, Military Camp, Ponda.
