35th basic course in legislative drafting held at Assembly complex

The Institute of Legislative Drafting and Research Department, Ministry of Law and Justice, Government of India, in collaboration with the Law Department and the Goa Legislature Secretariat, conducted the 35th Basic Course in Legislative Drafting on Tuesday at the Goa Assembly Complex, Porvorim.

A group of 20 trainee officers from various states, led by Legislature Counsel K K Sharma and Giridhar Gopal Verma, along with Section Officer Meesala Padmalatha, interacted with officials from the Law Department and the Goa Legislature Secretariat to gain insights into legislative procedures and the functioning of the Legislature.

Law Secretary Sandip Jacques, Joint Secretaries of the Law Department, Secretary Namrata Ulman, Joint Secretary Mohan Gaonkar, and Committee Officer Eknath Sawant from the Goa Legislature Secretariat were also present at the event. Sthrigdhara Naik and Pranav Salgaonkar compered the programme, while Prakash Satarkar delivered the vote of thanks.
