The Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (GBSHSE) has issued a final ultimatum to schools, warning that Class 10 (SSC) and Class 12 (HSSC) students whose academic data is not uploaded by July 18 will be barred from registering for the 2025-26 Board examinations.

Despite earlier instructions in May and a previous deadline of June 15, several schools have yet to update student data for Grade 9 and Class 11 for the academic year 2024-25. The data must be uploaded through the designated portal on the Board's official website.

“All Heads of recognized secondary and higher secondary schools are hereby informed to complete the uploading of student data by July 18,” said GBSHSE Secretary Vidhyadatta Naik. “Failure to comply will result in ineligibility of the students to register for the upcoming Board exams.”

This directive comes as the Board prepares for its 2025-26 examination cycle, with the implementation of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 for Grade 10 beginning this year.

The tentative examination schedule has already been released:

  • HSSC (Class 12) exams: Start from February 10, 2026

  • SSC (Class 10) exams: Begin on March 2, 2026

School heads are urged to act promptly to avoid disruptions in student registration and ensure smooth conduct of the exams as per the new academic and policy frameworks.
