Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant on Sunday held a Janta Darbar at Ravindra Bhavan in Sankhali, where he personally interacted with citizens and listened to their grievances. Residents from Sankhali and nearby areas brought forth a range of issues, from local infrastructure needs to administrative bottlenecks. The Chief Minister assured the public that their concerns would be addressed promptly and emphasized the government’s commitment to transparent and responsive governance. Such outreach programs, he noted, are vital for bridging the gap between the administration and the people, ensuring that grassroots voices are heard and acted upon.

In a related show of unity and national spirit, the Goa Raj Bhavan organized a 'Sarva Dharma Sadasu' (All-Religious Gathering) at the historic Durbar Hall on Saturday. The event, attended by Governor PS Sreedharan Pillai and Chief Minister Sawant, brought together leaders and representatives of various faiths to collectively condemn Pakistan’s recent actions against India. The gathering expressed unwavering support for the Indian Armed Forces and the Union Government’s efforts to defend the nation’s sovereignty. Governor Pillai, in his address, highlighted the importance of unity and truth, stating, "Dharma is truth, and truth will always prevail. Ultimately, evil will fail."
