The Goa Bench of the High Court has directed the Principal of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya in Valpoi to carry out urgent repairs of the school’s compound wall to safeguard students and staff from wild animal intrusions.
The court issued the order after taking note of concerns that the damaged boundary posed a serious risk to the safety of children and teachers, as wild animals were reportedly entering the campus.
Emphasizing that protecting the lives of students is of paramount importance, the court instructed the school authorities to begin the repair work without delay.
The directive aims to ensure the educational environment remains secure and free from threats posed by wildlife in the surrounding area.
