Heavy rains have inundated the kiosks outside the KTC bus stand in Margao, leaving most shops waterlogged and deterring customers from visiting.
Shopkeepers reported that rainwater entered their premises, damaging goods and making business operations nearly impossible. The area outside the KTC canteen has also been heavily flooded, adding to the inconvenience faced by commuters and vendors alike.
Authorities have been urged to improve drainage in the area to prevent repeated flooding during the monsoon.
