Residents of Margao have voiced serious concerns over rising nuisance caused by drunkards loitering in public areas from early morning until midnight. Locals report constant disturbances, including loud behavior, littering, and public urination, affecting the peace and safety of the neighborhood.
According to residents, the issue persists throughout the day, beginning as early as 6 a.m. and continuing late into the night. Many have urged the local administration and elected representatives to take immediate action to curb the menace.
“The situation is getting out of hand. Families and senior citizens feel unsafe stepping out,” said a concerned resident. Citizens are now calling for stricter policing, surveillance, and the enforcement of public drinking bans to restore normalcy in the area.
