Women & Child Development Minister Vishwajit Rane assured the Goa Assembly that all pending Laadli Laxmi applications from the past three years will soon be cleared.
He noted that the government has introduced key relaxations in the scheme and will conduct a detailed review to identify applications delayed for over a year and address the causes.
The assurance follows Chief Minister Pramod Sawant’s directive to streamline disbursements under key women-focused welfare schemes.
Rane also said that one-time applications under the Griha Aadhar scheme—many pending for over a year—will be processed within the coming week.
He reaffirmed the government’s commitment to delivering timely assistance to all eligible women under both schemes.
