Counsellor’s advice for SSC students
+ Do not stay up all night doing revision. Remember to give extra sleep hours to your brains; they too need rest and relaxation to perform optimally
+ Just like any other life situation, being calm and centred is important and essential
+ Take time to unwind and relax. Do some exercise or yoga or stretch your body
Remember to eat right and avoid junk food. Rely on your mom for nutritious and healthy food to boost brain activity
+ Remember an exam is just an exam - it doesn't define your life or who you are. Take it in your stride and you'll do great
+ If you are not able to cover something completely then skip it rather than missing out on important parts that you could have revised and learnt by heart.
+ Preparing a mental list of things you need for the exams (pens, admit card, writing board, etc) so you don't forget them or have to turn back once you have set out for the examination hall
+ Remember, breathe and relax. Build positivity and say to yourself, "I will perform well in my exams!"
