Student buddies of Vibrant Goa felicitated

Panjim: As the Vibrant Goa Expo and Summit 2019 draws to a close, the Vibrant Goa Foundation, at a special function, felicitated the students who participated in the Students Buddy event. 
The students were felicitated by Chief Minister Pramod Sawant.
All these students played a role of escort officers for the international delegates who visited the State during the three-day event. 
The CM took this opportunity to encourage the students. “You and I both saw this Vibrant Goa for the first time. This experience will help you a lot and will take you forward. I am sure you all have learnt a lot during this event. We will be having such an event in 2021 and next year the Vibrant Goa Foundation will have a similar summit in Dubai,” Dr Sawant said.
Many students from different colleges participated and IIHM, Verna, Goa students performed the best. IIHM Director Shabnam Jana received the award from Sawant. 
About 850 students registered themselves of which 350 were selected and 228 were engaged with the international delegates while the rest played a major role in helping at knowledge sessions, business to business meetings, food and beverages sections etc. All these students were mentored by the founder and MD of Global Networks Dr Jagat Shah and supported by Arman Bankley and Praveen Sabnis.
During the function, the Foundation also felicitated many stakeholders who helped the event run smoothly. Foundation’s Chairman  Nitin Kunkoleinker and President Rajkumar Kamat spoke during the occasion and thanked all the stakeholders and the students in particular.
