CURCHOREM: A multi-vehicular accident was reported at Kakoda, Curchorem wherein a high speeding car rammed a bike, a cycle, and another car on Monday.  The accident has left two people sustaining severe injuries.

The injured victims have been shifted to the Community Health Centre in Curchorem. Curchorem Police reached the spot to investigate the matter.

One eyewitness blamed the PWD for the dug roads, where they have not even barricaded the dug part of the road. “This is especially dangerous at night. They have not even put stones to show that the road is dug. The contractor should be booked,” the eyewitness stated.

Eye witnesses said the Celerio car was moving with speed and rammed into another car which was going in the opposite direction. A pedestrian was hit in the incident. A scooterist was also injured in the accident.  Nothing happened to the occupants of both cars.
