Valuables stolen from cars parked at Three Kings Monte

VASCO: Valuables were stolen from two cars parked at the Casaulim Three Kings Monte on Thursday. The car owners were reportedly on a shoot at the Monte, when the culprits broke the car windows and stole the valuables from them. 
When the car owners returned from the shoot, they found the rear windows of their cars were smashed and valuables like MacBook laptop and other items were stolen.
A bag containing lighting equipment was also stolen from one of the cars. The victims said that thefts at the Three Kings Church have become common; valuables are stolen from the cars and two-wheelers frequently. 
The Verna police said that last week, two cars were broken into at the Three Kings Church and that they are investigating the case in the right direction. “We are going to get concrete trail of the theft and hopefully will nab the accused, Verna Police Inspector Ninad Deulkar said. 
Meanwhile, the police have advised the visitor to the place not to keep any valuables in their cars or bikes while going to the Monte.
