In a swift and commendable operation, a sniffer dog from the Mumbai police's Bomb Disposal and Detection Squad successfully located a six-year-old boy who had been kidnapped within just 90 minutes. The Doberman named Leo accomplished this feat by tracing the child to a location 500 meters away from his residence in the Ashok Nagar slum, situated in suburban Andheri (East).

The incident unfolded when the family of the abducted boy approached the Powai police slightly after midnight, reporting that an unidentified person had taken the child while he was playing outside his shanty. According to officials, the family informed the police that the boy had changed clothes before venturing out. Utilizing Leo's tracking skills, the police provided the dog with the boy's t-shirt to sniff.

Leo efficiently led the police team to the boy, who appeared to have been left behind by the kidnapper in a state of panic. The child was safely recovered, marking a successful and rapid resolution to the abduction case. Police authorities are now conducting further investigations into the incident.
