The National Fire Service College, Nagpur, sponsored its 51st External Sub-Officers Course at the Regional Training Centre in Goa. The five-month-long training program, conducted by the Goa State Fire Force Training Centre, saw the participation of 29 diligent trainees hailing from states including Gujarat, Maharashtra, West Bengal, Delhi, and Daman & Diu.
Throughout the comprehensive course, trainees delved into a diverse array of theoretical and practical training modules aimed at fortifying their understanding of fire prevention and protection measures. From Fixed Fire Fighting Installation to Ship Fire protocols, the curriculum covered crucial topics such as Building Construction, Air Craft Rescue, Basic Physics And Chemistry, Fire Service Administration, and much more.
Nitin V. Raiker, Director of Fire & Emergency Services, extended his heartfelt congratulations to the accomplished trainee sub-officers during the valedictory function, commending their dedication and successful completion of the rigorous training program. He urged the graduates to disseminate the knowledge and skills acquired during the course among their peers, thereby fostering a culture of enhanced fire safety awareness nationwide.
The ceremony, graced by esteemed dignitaries including Rajendra Haldankar, Dy. Director (Fire) South/Central Zone, Francisco Mendes, Divisional Officer, South Zone, and Shri Shripad Gawas, Divisional Officer North Zone, witnessed a vibrant exchange of ideas and experiences among fire department officials and the enthusiastic trainees of the 51st External Sub-Officers Course from NFSC, Nagpur.
Ravi Naik, Station Fire Officer of the Training Section, orchestrated the proceedings with finesse, while Shri Shripad Gawas, Divisional Officer North Zone, expressed gratitude through the Vote of Thanks, marking the successful conclusion of yet another milestone in the journey towards bolstering national fire safety standards.
