There is a new twist to the Ravi Shirodkar stabbing case after North Goa DYSP JivbaDalvi said that the police department will appeal to cancel the previous bail of Tarzan Parsekar who is in police custody for his involvement in the Ravi Shirodkar stabbing case. Parsekar was shifted to the North Goa District Hospital on Tuesday morning after he complained of chest pain. Tarzan is presently undergoing treatment.
The Goa Police are on the lookout for one Manoj Singh, brother of notorious criminal Gajendra Singh (alias Chotu), who is allegedly involved in the stabbing of the Calangute youth, even as Anjuna Police apprehended five accused in connection with the case, taking the total of those arrested to 10 persons. Police said all efforts are being made to take tough action against history-sheeter, Tarzan Parsekar, with plans to book him under the stringent National Security Act (NSA).
Mapusa SDPO Jivba Dalvi informed that during the investigation it has come to light that around 12-13 persons were involved in the stabbing incident and Manoj Singh, the brother of noted criminal Gajendra Singh (alias Chotu), was accompanying Tarzan Parsekar during the attack. He said all the accused persons were celebrating a birthday party in a club in Calangute managed by Manoj Singh on the night of September 30 and in the wee hours of the next day (October 1) carried out the dastardly act.
