Wagh Bakri Tea Group executive director Parag Desai, aged 49, passed away on Sunday, as announced by the company on their social media platforms. Desai had been in the hospital for a severe head injury sustained during a fall near his residence, with reports indicating that the incident occurred while he was attacked by street dogs.
The incident came to light when a security guard alerted the family, who then rushed him to Shelby Hospital. After a day of observation at Shelby, he was transferred to Zydus Hospital for a surgical procedure. Unfortunately, he succumbed to a brain haemorrhage during treatment on Sunday.
In an Instagram post, the company expressed their deep sorrow, saying, "With profound grief, we regret to inform the sad demise of our beloved Parag Desai."
