Story: When Ruby (Antonette de Maina), her husband Eden (Creto) and son Charlie (David) return from London, she does her best to rekindle her relationship with past lover Kimber (Pierson), who is now in a relationship with Jess (Joelita). What will be the consequence?
Review:
Sam (Pascoal Rodrigues) is dead set against his son Kimber’s involvement with Jess, who works in a private firm. To make matters worse, Ruby, who is back from London with her family, ignores her good-for-nothing husband Eden and tries her level best to trap Kimber, who is her former lover.
Plans are on to assist Kimber’s trip overseas. Jess tries her best to help her lover, but fails. But timely assistance in dire consequences prompts Noshka (Sunita) to extend her help to Jess.
Jess in turn comes as a saviour to Kimber and he makes his maiden voyage as a seafarer. Meanwhile, Ruby makes plans to eliminate Jess and initially seeks helps from Jacob, who portrays himself as an undertaker. She then approaches Kimber’s dad, who extends his full support as he dislikes Jess.
But will Ruby succeed in bringing her vile plans to fruition? When one plan fails, what is Ruby’s next step? What is the fate of Kimber and Jess?
Milagres de Chandor’s tiatr ‘Go To Hell’ has a love story to relate, besides elements of frustration and suicide. Faithfulness till the end has been well portrayed, but suicide can never be the end result to life’s problems.
Pierson and Joelita as lovebirds on stage, give their best, both in dialogues and display of emotions. Pascoal as a father is convincing. Creto is awesome in his unique role. Antonette as a commanding spouse has extended good support. Milagres de Chandor in the negative role is outstanding. But among all the artistes, teen David captures eyeballs with his witty dialogues and swift actions. A cameo by Sunita is decent. Xavier stands tall in priestly robes.
In the comic acts, at the onset, Luis Bachan, Selvy, Richard and Nato entertain with some magical moments and continue with their laughter pills thereafter.
In the category of songs, Joelita, Alison, Princewell, Francis, Pascoal Rodrigues, Swetlana entertain with their solos, while Candida and Joelita entertain with their duo. Tracy, Stacy, Princewell and Francis regale the crowd with a quartet. But a trio by Princewell, Francis and Aliso receive an encore. A trio by Tracy, Stacy and Xavier on priests and nuns deserves appreciation.
The director needs to be commended for introducing newcomers on stage, both in singing and acting,  creating a strong platform for a bright future. He also deserves a pat on the back for the extensive and mesmerising stage sets.
Jaison has done a fair job on the light sets, while Anthony has assisted with the management on stage.
