RAIA: Hosts Rebello Pandal, Maina, got the better of CC Nuvem 8-5 to enter into the semi-finals of 18th Rebello Pandal football tournament played at St Rita Church ground, Maina-Curtorim, on Wednesday.
It was battle of supremacy between the two teams and a high scoring match of the tournament. Anand scored a hat-trick for Rebello Pandal in the 10th, 26th and 55th minute, while Wellington and Edwin scored twice in the 15th, 30th, 44th and 50th minute and Joaquim in the 28th minute.
For CC Nuvem, Velrose scored a hat-trick in 30th, 48th and 58th minute and Larson and Vedant netted a goal each in 4th and 33rd minute. Anand of Rebello Pandal was given the man-of-the-match by Filip, football lover.
