Apollo Tyres has been confirmed as the new jersey sponsor of the Indian cricket team, taking over from Dream11 after the fantasy gaming company’s exit due to a government ban on betting-related applications. The deal runs until 2027, with Apollo set to pay ₹4.5 crore per match, surpassing Dream11’s earlier ₹4 crore.
This multi-year agreement is expected to give Apollo Tyres enormous global visibility, thanks to India’s jam-packed international cricket calendar. It also stands as one of the most lucrative sponsorship deals in Indian cricket in recent years.
Currently, the Indian men’s and women’s teams are without a sponsor in the ongoing Asia Cup and the ODI series against Australia. It remains unclear whether the women’s team will sport Apollo Tyres’ logo during the Women’s World Cup 2025, co-hosted by India and Sri Lanka from September 30.
Dream11’s association ended following the enactment of the Promotion and Regulation of Online Gaming Act, which prohibits real-money gaming services and their promotion. The act has hit the fantasy sports industry hard, impacting revenue streams for multiple companies.
