Next Gen League Sees Thrilling Inter-School Football Action Across U-15 and U-17 Divisions

PANJIM: In the Group B, round 3 of the U-15 boys division, Bethany Convent High School, Sao Jose de Areal, secured a win over AIM High School, Navelim, in the 3rd edition of Next Gen League - an inter-school football and futsal league organised by The King’s Sports Academy and The King’s School, Sao Jose de Areal, at The King’s School ground, Sao Jose de Areal, recently.

Meckenzie Costa stood out with an all-round performance to earn the player-of-the-match award.

In Group A, round 3, St Pius X High School, Orlim, emerged victorious against Regina Martyrum High School, Assolna, with Aniket Kumar leading the charge and being named player-of-the-match.

In the U-17 boys Group C round 1 fixture, The King’s School and Rosary High School, Navelim, played out a closely contested draw. Trond Dias of The King’s School was awarded the player-of-the-match for his influential play and leadership on the field.

In round 4 of the U-17 girls category, St Rita High School, Curtorim, recorded a win over Perpetual Succour Convent High School, Navelim, with Leticia Monteiro delivering a standout performance to secure the player-of-the-match honours.
