Don Bosco Oratory, Fatorda moved into finals with a solitary goal win over Raia Sporting Club in the semi-finals of 38th Custodio memorial football tournament, organised by Raia Sporting Club, at Raia panchayat ground, Raia on Saturday.
Don Bosco made several raids into the rival territory but Raia goalkeeper Conny thwarted their motives.
Changing over, Don Bosco attacked the rival citadel and found success in the 34th minute from the boots of Velito Silva.
Raia came back into the match and launched furious attacks in search for the equaliser but failed.
Anthony of Raia cleverly flicked the ball with his heels facing his own half, which caught the Don Bosco goalkeeper napping. Unfortunately for Raia, the ball bounced back into play, hitting the cross bar.
