RAIA: Guirdolim Club defeated CAC Cansaulim 4-2 to move into the quarter-finals of the Fr Gervasio Pinto football tournament organised by Guardian Angel SC and played at Figueredo ground, Pontemol-Curchorem on Wednesday.
Guirdolim’s Mark Revlon was the star of the match with his power packed shots and many assistants to his teammates and for Cansaulim Asher Correia gave his best.
Guirdolim open the scoreline through Joaquim Carvalho in the 6th minute.
As the match progressed in the second half, Asher Correia netted two quick goals for Cansaulim in the 40th and 43rd minute, respectively.
Later, Mario Fernandes netted for Guirdolim in the 50th minute of Mark Revlon assists followed by Benson Fernandes in the 58th minutes and Revlon in the 60th minutes. Man-of-the-match was awarded to Ashwell Piexitto of Guirdolim.
