VARCA: Joe Cookies Veterans, Loutolim, shot-out Morjim Veterans 5-3 via the tie-breaker to enter the semi-finals of the Varca Veterans Cup football tournament organised by Varca Veterans, at Varca football ground, on Wednesday.
The teams were locked goalles at full-time.
In the tie-breaker, Joe Cookies Veterans netted through Agnelo, Caitani, Wilson James and Agnelo while Chandreshekar, Niclau and Sunil found the net for Morjim Veterans.
Beniditi D’Souza of Morjim Veterans was presented with the man-of-the-match award.
