Kulmaya, APDS in final

OLD GOA: Kulmaya-Karapur stormed into the final of the all-Goa inter-village volleyball tournament by defeating Vattari SC, Karapur in three close sets 25-23, 25-21, 32-30, at Merces. The tournament is organized by Merces Club in memory of late Antonio Pedro Dias Sapeco.

In the second semi-final Antonio Pedro Dias Sapeco (APDS), St Cruz beat Pan Parag, Usgao, 25-23, 25-23, 20-25, 26-24.
Earlier, in the quarter-final Kulmaya-Karapur got the better of 3X-St Cruz in straight sets 25-14, 25-23. 
The tournament has seen participation of a record 16 teams and the final will be played on May 23 with the winners walking away with Rs 20,000 while the runner-up will pocket Rs 15,000.
