MAPUSA: Mandrem Veterans drubbed Calangute Veterans by 4-0 margin to move into the next round of 1st All Goa veterans football tournament in memory of Babli Govekar organised by Anjuna Veterans at Tembi ground, Anjuna, on Tuesday.
Mandrem Veterans went into the breather by 1-0 margin after Benit Fernandes scored from the penalty spot. Calangute Veterans defender handled the ball in the penalty area. On crossing over, Mandrem Veterans took the lead again through Benit Fernandes.
As the match progressed, Christ Fernandes and Dinesh Konadkar pumped in two more goals for Mandrem Veterans, 4-0.
