MAPUSA: Mapusa Veterans drubbed hosts Anjuna Veterans by 4-1 margin to move into the next round of 1st All Goa veterans football tournament in memory of Babli Govekar organised by Anjuna Veterans under floodlights at Tembi ground, Anjuna, on Monday.
Mapusa Veterans went into the breather with two goals cushion.
Domnic Braganza and Shailesh Miskin scored.
On crossing over, Anjuna Veterans tried to come back into the match with Prasad Chimulkar pulling a goal, 2-1.
However, Shailesh Miskin netted a brace to complete his hat-trick, 4-1.
