MAPUSA/RAIA: Miracles Sports Club registered a hard-fought 4-2 win over El Shaddai Sports Club in the Goa Football Association’s Division III League Bardez Zone match played at Moira ground, on Friday.
Luis Fernandes opened the account for Miracles SC in the very 8th minute of play with a neat placement, 1-0.
Achilles G, Shriraj M and Jewel Fernandes added their names to the scorers’ list.
At the other end, Pritesh H and Ashvale M scored for El Shaddai S&C.
At Siolim ground, FC Tuem held Sai Avtar Anjuna SC by 2-2 margin.
Dipesh Parsekar and David scored for Sai Avtar Anjuna, while in the closing stages of the match Rishab Toraskar and Durgesh Kinlekar netted for FC Tuem to share a point each.
United Club of Verna scrapped past Raitura SC, Rachol, 3-2 at Verna panchayat ground.
United Club of Verna netted a goal each through Dadapeer Patel, Aditya Kumar and Joasle Fernandes and for Raitura SC Myron Pereira and Meldrino Gomes found the goals.
