MAPUSA: Nerul SC registered a fluent 3-1 win over St Anthony’s SC, Marna-Siolim, in the Candolim Panchayat Cup organised by Candolim SC played at Dr Gustavo Monteiro ground, Candolim, on Monday.
Nerul SC went into the breather with a 2-1 lead.
Earlier in the match, Nerul SC goalkeeper brought number of saves.
However in the 22nd minute, Chaitan Dabholkar opened the account and minutes later netted his second goal for Nerul SC with Nathan D’Souza pulling a goal for St Anthony’s SC.
On crossing ends, in the 40th minute, Viraj Malik tapped the ball into the goal off a cross from Chaitan Dabholkar 3-1.
