NUVEM: Nuvem Veterans registered a solitary goal victory over Raia/Rachol Veterans and moved into the semi-finals of the Nuvem inter-village Veterans Cup, organised by Nuvem Veterans, at Jesus Mary Joseph church ground, Nuvem, on Sunday.
Ekliz Vaz of Raia/Rachol veterans took a power-packed shot in the second minute but was denied by the Nuvem Veterans cross bar.
As the match progressed, in the 59th minute, Nuvem’s Milagres Fernandes took a long range shot which kissed the inside cross bar of Raia/Rachol Veterans and sailed into the net.
