Next Gen League 3.0: St Joseph’s, St Rita, St Jude’s & King’s School Score Key Wins

MARGAO: The latest match day of the Next Gen League 3.0 witnessed strong performances across the U-15 boys, U-17 boys and U-17 girls categories, with St. Joseph’s Educational Institute, St Rita High School, St Jude’s High School and The King’s School all emerging victorious in their respective fixtures.

In Group D, Round 3 of the U-15 boys category, St Joseph’s Educational Institute, Chandor defeated Mount Mary’s High School, Chinchinim. Trinsly Menezes continued his consistent form, once again leading from the front to earn the player of the match award.

The U-17 boys division saw two fixtures in Round 2. In Group A, St Rita High School, Curtorim delivered a dominant display to beat AIM High School, Navelim. Vivon Fernandes stood out with an excellent all-round performance and was duly named player of the match. In Group D, St Jude’s High School, Betalbatim registered a solid win over Perpetual Succour Convent High School, Navelim, with Fedrickson Fernandes receiving player of the match honours for his impressive contribution.

In the U-17 girls Round 3 match, The King’s School, Sao Jose de Areal produced a cohesive team effort to overcome Perpetual Succour Convent High School, Navelim. Manasvhi Sambhaji was named player of the match for her impactful play throughout the game.

The Next Gen League is an inter-school football and Futsal league organised by The King’s Sports Academy, with venue support from The King’s School, Sao Jose de Areal.
