PERNEM: Even as government has banned sand mining in the river beds, Vigilant illegal sand mining is going in the Tircaol river. Interestingly, sources stated that this sand mining is going on in front of the Tiracol Coastal Police station. Hence a blind eye is being turned towards this illegal activity.
