SANKHALI: Sankhali Municipality has started cleaning the municipal wells that have been unused for many years within the municipal limits. Initially, Sankhali Panchayat since last 30 years ago was supplying well water to all the market traders, but later they neglected cleaning the wells and did not use the water. Now the municipality will use the water from that well for the shopkeepers in the municipal market, due to which the municipality's water bill will be reduced by Rs 50,000 to Rs 60,000.
