Setting the ambience for Ganesh Chaturthi

With Ganesh Chaturthi just around the corner in the state, preparations are in full swing with painting of the houses, lighting and decoration, to welcome Ganesha for the annual festivity. Young artists Shriyash Malvankar from Reis Magos and Sahil Mayekar from Pilerne have been busy creating a beautiful backdrop on the a wall of their friend Kartik Chari's house in Badem, Salvador do Mundo. They have created a beautiful mural, giving it a natural setting in tune with the tradition of nature worship during the festival of Chovth. It is not just décor that Shriyash and Sahil Mayekar do but beautiful portraits as well. One amongst his work includes a portrait of Prathamesh Maulingkar, famous footballer and model, who won Mr Supranational in 2018.
