Yuva Panaji, in association with Rhythm Goa led by Hetal Gangani, successfully organized a vibrant three-day Garba workshop that attracted 30 enthusiastic participants. The event aimed to immerse attendees in the rich cultural tradition of Garba dance, fostering both skill development and community engagement.
The workshop, held at Mahalaxmi Temple hall received a superb response, with participants ranging from beginners to those with some dance experience. Under the expert guidance of Hetal Gangani, along with YUVA secretary Diksha Shetye, members Veda Desai and Aman Bhandare, learned various Garba steps, rhythms, and the cultural significance behind this lively dance form.
Participant expressed their joy in learning a new style of dance, allowing them to connect with their cultural roots while enhancing their physical fitness and coordination. The positive feedback from parents highlights the workshop’s success in promoting artistic expression and cultural appreciation.
