MARGAO: In a rare and impressive feat, a track made by Goa’s very own DJ and music producer Skeletron has now become part of the official playlist of the soon to be released Hindi film ‘Gehraiyaan’ that has a starcast comprising of Deepika Padukone, Siddhant Chaturvedi, Ananya Panday and Dhairya Karwa.
Shot mostly in Goa, ‘Gehraiyaan’ has already become a much
talked about film and is tipped off to a hit on Amazon Prime with the audience
given the amazing response it has already received after the trailers and some
of their songs were released. One of these songs, named after the movie’s
title, has already gone viral on social media platforms where ‘Gehraiyaan’ is
being used by many as the background song for their Instagram reels.
Now this is where 28-year-old Allan D’Souza steps in the frame. Hailing from Margao, the DJ who goes by the moniker ‘Skeletron’, made a remix of the song that became an online sensation so much so that it caught the attention of the people involved in the film and even though the official soundtracks had been chosen earlier, this too was added to the playlist.

Here is how all of this unfolded.
A couple of weeks ago, Deepika
Padukone had uploaded the teaser of the song 'Gehraiyaan' on Instagram reels.
It was then that Skeletron fell in love with the song and instantly decided to
add his own touch to it by making a unique remix with his signature sound. He
then uploaded it on Instagram & YouTube.
He was taken by surprise when the
‘Gehraiyaan' Director Shakun Batra discovered his Instagram reel and posted it
on his story and consequently the male lead of the movie, Siddhant Chatruvedi
supported this remix on his stories as well.
In just four days, Skeletron's
'Gehraiyaan' remix had started blowing up on YouTube by gaining over 100
thousand views. Sony Music India discovered his remix after this traction and
got in touch with Skeletron. They then decided to sign it as an official remix
and release it along with the 'Gehraiyaan' movie music album.

very own state, this comes as a huge achievement and a highlight of his music
production and DJ career. With a lot of great new music coming up, Skeletron is
ready to take over your world!” said Zenobia Karen D’Souza, his Manager.
“My 'Gehraiyaan' remix is now
officially signed to Sony Music India. It feels great to be part of the
official 'Gehraiyaan' music album! Honestly, I don't know how that was
possible! I’ve had the blessing to be supported by the director Shakun Batra,
‘OAFF’ (producer) and Siddhant Chaturvedi. For me, this is a huge win!” said
Skeletron, while reacting to the development.
This achievement is yet a proud achievement for
Skeletron who has already built a reputation for himself and has a huge fan
following after having released a number of unique originals, remixes and
mashup tracks, which have garnered millions of views. The constant delivery of
quality music has made Skeletrons’ name widely recognisable and it has caught
the attention of a number of top-listed DJs and producers such as KSHMR,
Quintino, Ummet Ozcan, Mike Williams, Fedde Le Grand and many more. Skeletron
has shared the stage with artists like Martin Garrix, DJ Snake, The
