Thursday morning witnessed a devastating tragedy as a collision between an auto rickshaw and a tanker claimed the lives of twelve individuals on the Bareilly Farrukhabad Road, near Sugsugi village. The incident occurred in dense fog, making it a challenging situation for those involved.
Superintendent of Police (SP) Ashok Kumar Meena provided the details of the accident, revealing that the auto rickshaw, carrying passengers from Jalalabad, was struck head-on by the tanker. The impact resulted in the tragic loss of all twelve individuals on board, including women, elderly individuals, and children.
The victims' identities remain unknown at this time, and their bodies will undergo a mortem examination to facilitate the identification process. In response to the tragedy, authorities have initiated an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the collision, with the hope of uncovering insights that can help prevent similar tragedies in the future.
