Road-signs play an important role in regulating the movement of vehicles which goes a long way in preventing accidents. Traffic Police are quick to penalise road users who do not follow the road signs.
However, it is observed that in the port town of Vasco an important road-sign for ‘No Entry’ along the Swatantra Path is completely obscured by a couple of advertisement boards. This makes it impossible for road-users to see the ‘One-Way’ road sign. The authorities concerned need to rectify the anomaly.
