Kadamba parcel service needs improvement

Published on
If there is one profitable segment in the Kadamba Transport, it is certainly their parcel service to major cities. However efficiency of this service is still a distant dream. One can witness serpentine queues to send or receive such parcels. Worse still, the most inefficient staff is deputed for this task in Margao depot. Even if there are 7-8 people in the queue, it takes a minimum of 30 minutes to finally take my parcel. Approximately 50 minutes for it to reach Panjim. More than the money, it is the precious time that users look forward to save. Isn't it wise to spend 20 minutes more and deliver it personally to the receiver in Panjim?
Why doesn’t KTC develop a self service kiosk which will print receipts that can be pasted on the parcel?
