I am a senior citizen who is a subscriber of BSNL in Divar Island having a landline and broadband connection. Recently, the BSNL has migrated to new equipment next-generation network (NGN) at Divar Telephone Exchange, where the landline and broadband were migrated.
As a result, there is collapse of the landline and broadband resulting in noise in the landline and disconnection of the digital subscriber line (DSL) and Internet of the broadband.
When I made an enquiry at the BSNL office, I was told that due to non-functioning of the air conditioning and fan at the exchange the equipment is getting heated due to which there is a disconnection in the DSL and broadband and noise in the voice. All customers are facing the same problem and BSNL is helpless in this matter.
In the absence of mobile connectivity, the villagers, mostly senior citizens are totally depended on landline and Internet.
I hope the concerned authority looks into this at the earliest to solve the grievances of the senior citizens.
