An unprecedented opportunity beckons on the incoming Donald Trump presidency that is due to assume reins of power on 20th January, 2025 and this time like never before the implementation of the earlier announced moves could even be carried out with almost clockwork precision.

Imagine that as soon as the Trump 2.0 is installed that the moves to stop the wars between Russia and Ukraine and Israel and Hamas in Gaza, Hezbollah in Lebanon, Houthis in Yemen, Islamic Jihad and in the borders of Syria materializes due to the American initiative, the US will not only have succeeded to please the world but will have moral conviction to pursue its pre-stated reforms within the US, so that no one in the US would be taken by surprise, but everyone will be aware of what fate awaits them.

Even the effervescent ferment should die soon. The repatriation of illegal immigrants will have provided the local US population with the opportunity to fill in the vacancies. The Donald Trump campaigning had made it amply clear that illegal immigrants would be ejected. Americans were also well informed that the bureaucracy in the US administration would be trimmed at least by one third so as to save $2 trillion in federal expenses.

Coupled with the advent of artificial intelligence, this target can be met to such an extent that unprecedented efficiency in the government machinery will probably make American governance the pride of the world since those who will be given a golden handshake will have the wherewithal to manage to use their experience to garner alternate jobs in the private sector. The regulation in the processing of H1B visas will ensure that American educated youth do not suffer and although this may be a US-centric move still the small American population of 341 million will be looked after adequately.

Besides, Trump will have to keep his promise of creating jobs and either reducing the cost of living or increasing the wages as was promised in his manifesto. The $50 trillion US economy if harnessed prudently could become the trend-setter in the world as in retrospect it would be imperative that stopping the two wars would lead to a dramatic easing of cost of living, inflation and also reduction of interest rates that will boost the economy within a very short time and if tariffs imposed are reciprocal then it would be understandable that even global trade would not impact severely any nation.

The management of all these factors in a step by step and methodical manner will definitely mean that the next four years for America will become the best four years in recent history. What the US has that China and India do not have is that the American population is very small comparatively and thus prioritizing efficiency would not greatly impact the US. If sagacious actions are forthcoming by the incoming administration, then what the world will see is a role model governance structure that would be not only the most affluent but also one that does not impact adversely anyone in America.

Thus, in the next four years America will have gained primacy in efficiency and in providing for its entire population. Could the rest of the world also in accordance with their needs galvanize in order to provide for its citizens in a pragmatic manner?
