Needed sincere leaders to weed out drug menace

Our current ruling party has suddenly publicly admitted about the presence/sale of large scale drugs in the state and has now even instructed the cops from the anti-narcotic cell henceforth to take immediate strict action against all the owners of musically famous bars & restaurants, night clubs who are involved in organizing their rave-parties and distributing drugs to their clients in all the coastal belts of Goa.

It’s alleged that prominent political figures from our respective governments (right from Congress as well as the BJP) over the years have been actively supporting the organizers of rave parties and even the activities of all the notorious drug dealers/suppliers involved in drugs trade after taking their regular ‘haftas’ or bribes in most of all the coastal belts of Goa. 

Because  as far as everyone knows, it is not just the owners of a few bars & restaurants, night clubs who go to keep/sell drugs but even small ‘gaddaas’ or shops and even the local unemployed youth who are always seen daringly selling drugs in all the coastal belts of Goa.  Now, don’t the cops from the anti-narcotic cell know anything about all such ongoing illegal activities in Goa?  Of course, they do, but the reason why they simply refuse to take any action is because they get their regular ‘haftas’ or bribes to support their families.  And mind you, this drugs business is big business for many and it helps not just our politicians but even the corrupt cops from the anti-narcotic cell somehow to make fast money, so why will they ever go to take action against all such notorious people in Goa? 

   I therefore strongly feel that the ongoing raids against a few notorious people will go for a while and slowly fizzle out because finally it’s a round big circle and in which not just the locals, cops but even some of our elected politicians (including ministers from rulings governments) are actively involved in Goa.  Yes, we now  badly need a sincere and honest leader with a strong determination to really liberate Goa from the filth of garbage, drugs, prostitution, casinos etc but sadly I still don’t find anyone really emerging even in the near future… . God alone should therefore save Goa coz currently we have only corrupt, opportunists and power hungry leaders around … . C’mon all my fellow Goans, it is time to unite and to Save Goa… Let us liberate ourselves by dumping all such opportunists’ leaders permanently in the garbage bucket of history and save Goa… Long live Goa… Viva Goenkaar…
