
Air India on Thursday announced the launch of new daily flights connecting Ahmedabad, Chandigarh, and Dehradun to Bengaluru, starting September 1, 2025. The new routes will be operated by Air India Express, the airline’s low-cost subsidiary, as part of its expanding domestic network.
In the first phase of the rollout, the airline will introduce two daily flights each on the Ahmedabad–Bengaluru and Chandigarh–Bengaluru routes, while the Dehradun–Bengaluru route will have one daily service. All flights will operate in both directions, ensuring seamless connectivity between Bengaluru and the three cities.
To mark the expansion, Air India Express has introduced special promotional fares starting at ₹4,100. Tickets can be booked directly through the AI Express website as well as other travel booking platforms.
Highlighting the development, the airline said, “Cementing its position as the country’s fastest growing airline with a fleet of 116 aircraft, Air India Express is adding three new cities, Ahmedabad, Chandigarh, and Dehradun, to its network. These services strengthen connectivity between major metros and high-potential regional hubs.”
