Delhi Navy HQ breach: Civilian clerk leaked top-secret files under ISI's seduction game

In a shocking breach of national security, Vishal Yadav, a civilian clerk at the Indian Navy headquarters in Delhi, has been arrested for leaking sensitive defence information to Pakistan’s Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI). The disclosures reportedly included material related to Operation Sindoor—a matter of strategic importance.

Investigations have revealed that Yadav, who had developed a serious addiction to online gaming and gambling, fell into deep financial distress after incurring significant losses. To recover from his debts, he began passing confidential naval documents to a Pakistani operative posing as “Priya Sharma” on social media. Authorities say the ISI agent lured Yadav into a honeytrap, exploiting his vulnerabilities and manipulating him into sharing critical information in exchange for money.

Payments were reportedly made through both cryptocurrency channels and direct bank transfers, further complicating the trail of transactions. The espionage came to light after months of surveillance by Rajasthan’s CID Intelligence Unit, which tracked suspicious communications and financial patterns. Forensic analysis of Yadav’s mobile phone uncovered a trove of incriminating evidence, including extensive chat logs and document exchanges.
