"Get me married": Leaked chat reveals spy YouTuber Jyoti Malhotra’s odd request to ISI handler

A leaked WhatsApp conversation between Haryana-based travel vlogger Jyoti Malhotra and a Pakistani intelligence officer has surfaced, showing her close ties with Islamabad, as Indian authorities continue to investigate her for alleged espionage. Malhotra, who ran the YouTube channel Travel with Jo, was arrested last week after officials discovered she was in regular contact with Ali Hasan, an operative of Pakistan's Inter-Services Intelligence. In one of the chats, Malhotra asked Hasan, "Get me married in Pakistan," which investigators interpret as a sign of her emotional connection with her handlers and the country.

Further investigation revealed that Malhotra maintained several coded conversations with her ISI contacts and reportedly shared sensitive information related to Indian undercover operations. Police have also uncovered four bank accounts linked to her, some with transactions from Dubai that exceeded her known income, suggesting possible financial incentives for her activities. Malhotra had visited Pakistan twice and was introduced to Pakistani intelligence officials by a staffer at the Pakistan High Commission in Delhi. She is among a dozen individuals recently arrested across Haryana, Punjab, and Uttar Pradesh on espionage charges amid heightened India-Pakistan tensions.
